Flame and lighting effects can run independently of the heater. Heating coverage is approximate and depends on room conditions. Electrical installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Build the fire into a feature wall, open it on three sides, or turn a corner. Four configurations let the Switch 120 work with the room's architecture. A vent-free electric design needs no chimney or gas connection.

Installation & delivery
Installation & Important Notes
For outdoor use, EcoSmart Fire approves Switch installations only under a patio cover or overhang and protected from direct water contact and direct sunlight, with the required roof overhang, side protection, and floor clearance shown in the installation guide. Follow current manufacturer instructions and use a qualified electrician for hardwiring. A dedicated 20-amp circuit is required; 240V/10,000-BTU installations require the appropriate 2-pole circuit. Verify actual fireplace and framing dimensions before cutting custom finishes.
Estimated Lead Time
Current manufacturer lead time: Typically 2–4 weeks. EcoSmart Fire has advised that Motion and Switch fireplaces ship from its St. Genevieve, Missouri warehouse. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery window. Confirm current availability and delivery timing with Modern Fireplace Living before ordering; transit may be additional.
